As my friends know, I am infested with cat fleas. I have been trying now for 3 years ago to get rid of them but they never stop coming. We are down to one cat, Junior and he is treated every month and he doesn't have any fleas....

terilee79720 I'm sorry winterose. Fleas can be a major problem. I didn't read the other responses to your discussion, I wanted to get right to it.
If you want to get rid of fleas, there is really only one way to do it. Well, two actually, but the cost of having your...

the baby will be wearing pink or blue on the ride home in December. All I really want is a healthy baby. But I am excited about decorating the room. Would you be excited?

USA has it's own oil resources but we cannot use those resource because we will harm the environment. ANWR is one of those protected sits that is just to fragile to drill in. We are told that if we were to drill up there the whole...

terilee79720 Too many environmental groups seem to be more interested in saving one thing or another instead of saving the human race. I guess it's a catch 22.
While ANWR is a protected area, what determines the size of the area, when not 50 feet from the boundary stands...

With my son leaving for college in 25 days got me to thinking. I have never lived alone. I grow up in a large family. There was always a house full of people. With my son leaving soon, I got to thinking my other two will be...

terilee79720 I like what spark said momma. The part about being comfortable in your own skin. Being 'alone' has its advantages sometimes. It also has its moments when the quietness is maddening, but for the most part, it doesn't take long to get used to it. As long as...

I have been digging and researching, and really discovering a lot about the "truths" I have been taught growing up. I am now at a curious point, where I would like to hear what you all have to say...

Without knowing what 'religion' you were raised in (not that it matters a great deal), I started digging and researching when I was very young. Things I was taught (from our...

For me in my youth I guess I was always in the fast lane never taking time to stop and relax whereas as I have got a bit older I see it more like a gentle drive along a countryside lane sometimes having to speed things up a bit...

terilee79720 I've taught myself to "take the road less traveled" ellie, so I have to say I enjoy the gentle drive along a 'very' rural road.
Like you, in my youth, which was another lifetime ago, I spent most of my time in the fast lane. It's where I thought we were...

Okay so do you consider cheating to be only when someone has a physical relationship with another person other than yourself or do think that any type of flirtation whether physical or verbal is flirting? If you were with someone...

Hey everyone,
I don't want to sound like a total moron but I've only been on here a little over a week. I just got a yellow 8 star and it says my rating is 84/100. Is that good? Can someone tell me what exactly that means?

While I was waiting for a friend at an Old age home yesterday, I happen to notice an old acquaintance . He was saying goodbye rather emotionally to an elderly lady. It took me a few moments in remembering where I had seen the...

terilee79720 While it might be hard to accept the idea alokn, sometimes, it's the best alternative for families. We never dreamed our parents would end up in Senior Care either, but sometimes the circumstances leave no other choices.
We allowed our parents to live in...

Do you take time for yourself? Alone time that you can just relax and be by yourself? Do you have a lot of alone time or are you like me and barely ever get it? Do you take extra measures so that you can get alone time?

Ok, I could use some meal suggestions. It is getting that time of year where it is just too hot to cook. It heats up the place too much. Yesterday I had the oven on for over an hour and it took hours to cool back down. We do grill...

This last few weeks, something has changed in my relationship with my husband. He's never been much of a touchy-feely guy, but now he's different. If he's awake in the middle of the night, he'll spoon up against me and kiss my...
