thescribbler You need to see a doctor. Now. Many things can cause your symptoms, and many of those are fairly easily remedied. Especially if they're caught early. Please don't hesitate. Here online, we can only guess and that could even be dangerous. See a doctor ASAP. I...

thescribbler I've had a few of those surprises, too. I'm not sure how they find those old discussions, but it's kind of fun to see them come up again, usually with a new take on the subject. I don't think they should ever be deleted, as long as mylot has the space to keep...

thescribbler Most days I have a glass of water, a glass of orange juice, a granola bar and my vitamins. It's not much, but it's easy. But once in a while, we buy a dozen fresh eggs from a neighbor who has chickens, and then, yummy scrambled eggs, toasted half a bagel and...

thescribbler As a former magazine editor, and now an author, I can't help but cringe when I see things like that. Another one I see a lot is "I would of done something" instead of "I would have done something." I think the problem is that people say would've but spell it...

In my family we have a tradition of opening some presents before December 25. We get to open one of the not too serious gifts under the tree like chocolates, socks, and simple things like that. Today I got to open my remote...

thescribbler When I was a kid, we could open one gift on Christmas eve, a small one. On Christmas morning, we had to wait until everyone was up and had their robes on, and Mom and Dad had their coffee mugs in hand. Then we could all rush into the living room and open our...

thescribbler Some ppl brag that they hate reality tv and won't watch it, no matter what. Those of us who are more into it will try some of the new ones and probably watch more of it. Reality shows and game shows are "unscripted" and also a lot cheaper to produce, so...

To my recollection, I feel like...
