Did anyone else happen to catch this? It was a bit frightening, considering we were told that the asteroid making a close flyby would not be dangerous to us here below.

tigershark They didn't expect that meteorite at all and weren't able to detect it until the meteorite entered the atmosphere. I doubt that even a missile would've been able to hit it and if it did, it would've caused a public controversy, seeing how Russia was a leader...
