trulymadly27 Go to www.speedtest.net to know your internet bandwidth, I think the problem is with your internet service privider.

trulymadly27 As long as the second hand laptop works, why not? Just check it thoroughly and do a burn in test to see if there is a defect.

trulymadly27 I think your laptop's inverter or backlight (CCFL/LED?) is the culprit, have it checked by a service man to know the exact problem

trulymadly27 Mine (Dell Inspiron 700M) battery last about 3 hours, can even make 4 hours if just doing word processing.
