brimia A lot of it is hype. I even heard that some pricey lipsticks had lead in them. I do like Aveda which can be a little more pricey but they're all-natural and more environmentally friendly and not "perfumey" or heavy.

mrsjbelle Welcome. Are you new here? (11 posts is why I ask)I didn't figure there would be much of a differance. To me its just hype. If the product is tryed & True and you like it thats what matters & of course you did the smartest thing TRY it on sale:)

OConnell87 your paying for the brand really, i find most cheaper stuff just as good although i use boots No7 make up its not cheap but its not overly expensive and its good quality

I am a stay at home MOM so I use a lot of freebie stuff. check out walmart then select "in stores now" from the drop down list select free samples. I go back every month for goodies and they come within a week or two
