I am totally feeling the Christmas spirit. Quite clearly. Haha. My family this year are going back and forth between a regular "dress up" day (wearing mostly dresses and black tie type clothes) or a more fun "vintage" dress up....

ruth roberts No we never do themes but I love the idea. As its a 'dress up' do I'd go for the black flapper one with ltos of beads and a band around your head and maybe even a big feather and feather boa too - very chic.

ruth roberts Yes always like things ready for 'switch on' around 1 December. Can never understand why anyone would wait till Xmas Eve to put up their tree - I want to see decorations for as long as possible!

ruth roberts Yes agree about the never-ending reality TV. Think I saw a documentary on them once - ok for an hour but hardly worthy of a full series. I get fed up of watching 'ordinary people' doing ordinary things!

ruth roberts Not everyone feels in the festive mood - but sometimes just going through the motions and writing cards, wrapping and decorating does help - anyhow it'll be gone in 3 weeks whether we are full of festiveness or not.
