whymrhymer The Telegraph article this discussion is based on is totally misleading -- you need to read the comments after the article to discover that this list of "new" sins was just the ramblings of a "second-tier cardinal" giving an interview to the news media -- they...

You open it and there are also some documents of a person you know is very wealthy (e.g. a famous factory owner)

Do you...

I ran away from home when I was a young child. I joined a carnival for a bit then went to Florida & ended up with a traveling circus which shall remain unnamed. Anyhow I just wanted to say a few things about the fun & all I...

A man who intentionally spat at another can be charged with criminal assault, a U.S. appeals court ruled on Wednesday.

whymrhymer Obviously, spitting AT someone (in their direction or on he ground at their feet) is not on the same level as spitting ON someone. Spitting at someone is like calling them a name while spitting on them is pretty much like a slap on the face -- I don't know but...

Hypothetical question (for you, for me it's a real dilemma):
One of your best friends is dying of cancer. He's hooked up to multiple machines/tubes to try and stabilize him. He's declining fast. The last time you saw him was...

Sometimes hearing peoples' opinions on certain matters make me quite ashamed to be part of the human race. I don't know what's going on in the world these days. I believe our nation has hit an ultimate low. There are people...

whymrhymer I'd love to sit down and have a beer with George at home!
We would talk of many things I'm sure but eventually the conversation would get around to the Middle-East. I'd tell him that it doesn't matter how many terrorists we kill, we are not changing the...
