Forgotten password on Laptop

A friend of mine has forgotten the password to access their laptop! I suggested removing the battery for 24 hours to see if that worked but to no avail. Anybody got any suggestions?

x3rosoldi3r In Vista, as in Windows XP, there is an Admin account automatically created. There is no password set on it as default, so you could try logging in as Admin.

x3rosoldi3r The Petrol station I normally goto is 88.9, which is about the cheapest in the area (plus they have a reward scheme going). The most expensive is 92.9 on the way to work, which I avoid unless I get desperate.
