yaxcdoodles My baby weighed 4lbs. 6oz at 32 weeks. She's four-months old now and is already 11 lbs. Not bad for a preemie, huh? :)

yaxcdoodles My firstborn weighed 4 pounds and six ounces only because she had to be delivered prematurely. I had little amniotic fluid and at 32 weeks, my baby had to be taken out. Thank God she's well!

Is it true that newborns can swim?

I heard that if you put a newborn in the water, he/she will be able to swim without any problem. They can even handle staying submerged! Is this true?

yaxcdoodles yes. i do believe it's true. have you heard of water birth wherein the mother gives birth in a pool? And i think newborns can breathe in water. After all, babies swim in amniotic fluid before they're born, right?

yaxcdoodles I use "safety first" baby nailcutters and i cut my four-month-old baby's fingernails once a week. You're right, they grow so very fast! The best way to cut them is when they're asleep.
