121970 I was never told about Santa Claus, and I grew up in an atmosphere were curiosity and skepticism were encouraged. You never know what trait will develop in a child when they recognize that the whole adult world lied to them for so many years - deliberately....

121970 Drinking because I was an insomniac (at age 8) and everyone scolded me why I didn't go to sleep. I discovered drinking and never quit. Smoking - well, I wanted to kick some superstitions in the teeth.
