MysD Bentornata! Stars only go down because others have rated your posts negative. Sadly too many Lotters do not use the rating system in the way it as intended and when they disagree with something you siad they rate negative...

jaydee_r34 I totally agree with you. Facebook has put me in contact with several people that I have lost contact with in the past. If you want to meet new people myspace or tagged is the way to go.

megumiart I took some piano lessons when I was little and learned basic notes, but now I don't remember them much. I play guitar more now, and just use tabs instead of notes.

Why falling stars are calling 'falling' or 'shooting star' and not 'moving star' or other? Because indeed they don't fall.. uhm.. What do you think about?

ShardAerliss They are falling though. Falling stars are meteors; meteors are lumps of ice and/or rock that hit our atmosphere, burn up and glow as they fall. Shooting stars; well, they are shooting through the atmosphere at great speeds.

gemini_rose I only know them as a shooting star, so i guess they get their name from the way the shoot across the sky? I think, but maybe there is another reason they are called that.
