CJgirly Hey Sedel here's something you may want to take a look at, it says that drooling in cats can be caused by toxins like poison or household chemicals. is your kitty indoor or outdoor? hope this helps.

CJgirly it's easiest to teach them when they are young, but I think most dogs can be taught to shake. the way i taught my dog, over a few days, i would have him sit in front of me, then say "shake" or "give me paw" which ever one you use, get him familiar with it....
