Citygirl79 With some writers you can deal with it but he does go into a lot of detail where it's often unneccesary and slows the book down. IT was a classic example. It kept jumping between 1950's and the 1990's and I ended up completely lost.

Citygirl79 The Saw movies were just plain nasty, btu I have to say, I enjoyed them even though they were scary. At least they had a plot that flowed through each of the films. And some of those traps......URGH!

Citygirl79 I haven't. I just find there is too much gore in them, so the story is weaker and the genuine frights are absent. That is why I liked the Sixth Sense, it was old fashioned scares rather then just relying on bloody make up and gory ways of killing people.
