Darabird Actually I do get that personal vibe, ..I seem to know when to hold them, when to fold them, when to walk away, when to run. Isn't it interesting how the spirit of a person is so evident in this medium yet often look nothing like we perceive?

Darabird Well, I can't speak for all dogs, but I know my dog understands many things. He knows "NO", "DOWN" "GO FOR A WALK", "GO TO THE PARK", "NITE-NITE", "BAD"... Once he understands a word or phrase he doesn't forget it.
