Right now I am filled with righteous indignation over the huge tax that has been levied on cigarettes!I'm well aware that smokers are constantly maligned in our society, but it is just unfair to be targeted in such a...

EliFromMN You know, I really do agree with you. Cigarette prices are absolutely through the roof and it's completely unfair. I can understand the arguement that smokers have more health problems and so it takes it toll on the health care system. What about alcohol? Why...

Do you prefer to watch movies on the TV or on the PC? PC is much more convenient, but TV is so much less strenuous.

EliFromMN I prefer to watch movies on my TV. It's more comfortable for me to sit on the couth and look at a big screen.

Have suicidal thoughts ever come to your head? Was there a time in your life which made you so desperate and helpless, that the only "rational" thing you can think of is taking your own life?
As depressed as I am, I've NEVER...

I'm currently staying in an apartment. And my neighbour has 4 very young children.
I'm cool with all of them but there is one thing i hate about those kids. They have this fondness of throwing sand inside my front gate. And it...

If so, how many times in a day do you tell your parents "I Love You"? Does it make you feel better that you can say those words to your parents openly? I know certain people who can't show affection to their parents, but who...

My boss talked to me in private last week regarding the working attitude of one of my female team mate. It would seem she has been working inefficiently and below par the past few months, and has been lying to some of our clients...

Have you ever ask yourself, do gentleman still exists in this fast paced world? Any instance that you meet them in your work place or in the most popular "full pack bus scenario".

EliFromMN My stepdad is a true gentleman. For the last 8 years, my mom hasn't opened a door, pulled out a chair, or walked in the rain. Even in the middle of pouring rain, blizzard conditionis, or the heat of summer, my stepdad always opens and closes my mom's car door...

One condition: If the pay was the same!
So, if you were paid the same amount per hour, which would rather work as? A customer service representative or a fast food worker?
I'd totally pick the fast food worker. I'm totally fed...

What kinds of things do you notice about people who are smokers? Is it a faint smoke-y smell, or is it a raspy voice, or is it some yellowing on the fingers from holding cigarettes too much?

EliFromMN I could be way off, but are you trying to find ways to cover that you're a smoker? I'm a smoker myself. If I suspect that somoeone is a smoker, I try to look for small indicators. Butts in or around their car or door. of course ilghters are a dead give away....
