In_a_Crafting_Daze I know how you feel! I have had my best friend for over eight years. Behind his back she will tell me that she knows its wrong. She'll tell me about the things SHE wants to do, SHE wants to learn, or SHE wants to go. It'll never happen. Even when she gets the...

In_a_Crafting_Daze I get this feeling everywhere! I spend my time making sure my kids look clean and put together (because you'll get looks from even more people when your children look disheveled!) and then I just grab my bag and flip flops and go! I actually left one day with...

In_a_Crafting_Daze I made one for my mother using pieces of my daughters baby clothes. Some of them had stains in spots and couldn't be sold. I cut them into 2 1/2 inch strips as best I could. I would cut out the appliques as big center squares and did a make shift "log cabin"...

In_a_Crafting_Daze I think everyone grew up with "bullies" and I know of very few people that didn't experience being "picked on" when they were young. It is a part of life. HOWEVER! The picking and bullying isn't like it was in the 70's and 80's. It is cruel and hateful! I'm...

In_a_Crafting_Daze We try to use age appropriate punishments, our kids are ages 5 and 2 and here are some of the ways we discipline depending upon the offense:
1. Time out (usually in corner or in their bed because the oldest one hates it so much)
2. Take away priveledges
3....

In_a_Crafting_Daze I agree with the first half of that statement. The second half I might have issues with it. If you're speaking medically, then I tend to think those who believe faith will heal all disease may be risking alot, however I also believe that if God has determined...

In_a_Crafting_Daze SheliaLee, You don't HAVE to have a memory card. Your camera will still work just fine and you can get your pictures. I've mentioned picasa before, and I'll say it again. It's a great FREE software. My mom doesn't know anything about computers and I have her...

A drunk man in an Oldsmobile
They said had run the light
That caused the six-car pileup
On 109 that night.
When broken bodies lay about
And blood was everywhere,
The sirens screamed out eulogies,
For death was...

In_a_Crafting_Daze No, I'm not doing weight watchers; however, I did lose about 65 lbs after my last baby. I was 230 when I came home from the hospital (she was almost nine pounds) and was around 165 before I started working again. (I have gained about twenty since I started...
