For those that hate the direction this country has been going, who would you like to see run for office against Obama??

I was just browsing the various categories
and found the Humor interest forum on MyLot.
Funny thing. I thought that posting jokes
was against TOS. I guess the two things
are different.
What do you think about this?
If...

I love to eat apples. Most times, I wash the apple
or pear thoroughly and then cut into pieces.
I eat the fruit slice, peel and all.
I've heard that the most nutritious part of an apple
is the peel. So I never pass up the...

Not really but some days it seems that way. This is a bad habit that plagued me for years, what are some innovative ideas for breaking this nasty habit?

Jangalajim Well, I found the best way to end procrasination is to put off handling it until you handle everything else. Funny, but I've done that and it works. You get a lot of things done but then you won't have time to deal with the procrastination if you get real...

I know this is so controversial but I just sit here and wonder all the time about that. How is it that kids have gotten to this point? They never used to be like this. Even though they got regular strappings and beatings for minor...

I heard a report a couple of days ago on the Today show where they showed that manufacturers keep product prices the same by putting less in the package. Some packages are still the same size, some are a miniscule amount smaller....

Jangalajim I haven't really been noticing but I've been wondering if that would be done. Because of the gas price going up, everybody else has to charge more for their services. It's just a fact of life. Maybe a tiny reduction in the amount in a box would be good for...

In this time of rising fuel costs folks are attempting to conserve gas. However there are lots of products that have petroleum as an ingredient. Seems we should try to cease use of these products as well! Some examples of products...

With all the recent discussions about the high gas prices, it got me to thinking about the lowest I've ever paid for gas. 79 cents a gallons comes to mind from about 10-12 years ago. Surely it was even cheaper than that 25-30...

Jangalajim In 1967 when I got out of high school it was about 20 cents a gallon. Boy have things chanced. Everything was cheaper then. In fact just about anyone could, if they wanted to, fix their own cars in their back yard. But, no more. Cars are just too complicated...

I drove into town to pick up some groceries and noticed that gas is down to $3.81 today. It has previously been $3.89 and above.
Has anyone else noticed any drop in gas prices in their areas?
