I have a slow cooker, or crock pot, what ever you want to call it, but the lid has no air vent. This causes the liquid that condenses on the lid to roll down and get caught on the lip where the lid rests. Then as pressure builds...

LadySavant I had a feeling that was the case for cooking but I wasn't sure. Thank you. I think i will try cooking on a lower setting.

LadySavant Thank you. I think you re probably right with the cooking on too high a setting. I tend to cook things on high. I think I am afraid they won't be done in time for dinner or something. My slow cooker has four settings high, low, keep warm and off. I will try...

LadySavant Thank you for the welcome and the luck. =) I am not sure that sun tea is more flavorful but it is definitely a different flavor from hot water teas. I enjoy them both but when it is really hot its nice to have something to help you cool down.
