For years, I've seen screaming kids in the Walmart throwing themselves on the floor and howling at the ceiling because mommy didn't buy them something. For the most part, my little kid doesn't do that. Not yet, anyway.
I'm...

My neighbour goes to work and her mother-in-law is home with the kids because the kids are having school vacations. My son goes over to their house some days to play and some days the kids come over to my place.
Today, my son was...

My male cat "kitty" fetches like a dog. It's hilarious! He only fetches crumpled pages of paper. Well I still think it's amazing. If I'm sorting through papers he is standing right there with excitement in his eyes and meowing. So...

MissK1 Hi! First of all I have to congratulate you for saving that kitten's life. About your wife, I think she will understand if you'll tell her exactly what happened. It would only be a problem if the chihuahua and the kitten didn't get along, which didn't happen....

I can't wait for Shrek the Third to come to theatres. Being a big fan of the previous movies, I have grown to love the characters. We would go to see this movie even without a grandchild with us. There are more adults flocking...

How do you feel about your kids playing with toy guns? Are they allowed to play with guns? My husband and I have debated with each other for 3 years now about whether kids should be allowed to play with toy guns, especially the...

MissK1 My kid only owns and plays with water guns and some that fire foam balls or foam disks. All very colorful and harmless. I never bought him guns that look real and never will. I think that toy guns that look like real ones should never been in the toy market...

Women should stay at home, stay pregnant, do as they are told, and mind their own business (which is cleaning, cooking, having chidren, changing diapers, and satisfying her husband whenever he wants it)!
What have you got to...

A discussion started by west_tx_goddess inspired me to start this discussion. She asked if she should teach her kids to do chores. I answered her the obvious answer (well, to me anyway) which is yes. It also sparked my memory of...
