There's a saying that only trees that bears fruit get stoned. Is this true with the Bible? There are a lot of religiuos books around but they pale in comparison to the Bible when it comes to circulation, discussion, etc.

Ptolemy yes, these are all vague stories. nothing clear. all dreamlike state. we are not dependent upon mere deduction, like familiarity of the place, similarities, feelings of affection to a complete stranger etc. etc. What, then, is the condition of the dead?

Ptolemy Life after death, that is resurrection. it is in the bible. but i do not believe that we go somewhere else after we die. we are just not existing after death. but we await resurrection, the time when God would call to us and we awake.

Ptolemy i think the mother has the right IF it involves only her own body. But with a child in her, that's another life. Maybe the mother could say, "This is my life, it's my right" But how about if the unborn child could speak and say, "This is my life too!"
