Titia Geertman Congrats on your milestone, I didn't know you're on HP too. I moved over there when Squidoo sold us out and I'm still there. Not very active in writing new articles though. With the few I have I reach pay-out every month and that's ok with me. I joined ML not...

Hubby and I have had quite a day. Mister Rufus esquire came to live with us.
He is not a big boy and yet his spirit and youth make up for his size.
Rufus is an Australian Cattle Dog or some would say a Blue Heeler. Just like...

Titia Geertman Looks indeed very much like an Aussie cattle dog, but could be there's some Kelpie genes in him too. Very good herd dogs. I could use one right now, both my border collies (litter sisters) died of old age. I'm dogless now and my sheep know that very well. LOL

From reading psychology books and self help books, Ive come across how daughters need their fathers and they will not grow up fine without a father figure. I'm scared that if I enter into a relationship with another man, he might...

Titia Geertman You've had a nasty experience, but mind you, not all man are bad. Seems to me you are doing great living by yourself and your daughter. Daughters can grow up very well without a father. Better no father than a bad father. Don't think too low on yourself,...

Titia Geertman @Bannatt3 Welcome to MyLot. Don't worry about your language. English is not my native language either. Best way to learn is to talk (write) to us and then you will see how things should be written. When you see any wrongly spelled words in what you type, then...

I just got home, after receiving my first vaccine. After I got it, I had to wait for fifteen minutes to see if I had any kind of reaction. After fifteen minutes, the receptionist told me I was free to go. I feel ok, actually I...

Titia Geertman Good morning to you. For me it's evening 22.54 local time. It has been stormy all day here and it will be worse this night with a lot of rain. It's been a rather lazy couch hanging day watching the inauguration. In between I fed the cats and the sheep and...

At every nook and corner of our garden I see nature's artistic hand at work. This is a very ordinary flower but it has been arranged so artistically - a perfect picture post card.
There is no artist better than nature. If you...

Titia Geertman Beautiful flower and beautiful color. Do you know the name of this plant?
I love roses, I had a lot of them, mainly rambler roses. I let them grow a bit wild in our garden and only cut them where I don't want them. Sometimes that gives surprising pictures.

Kitty decided to sleep in when I went to bed last night, rather than go hunting, as she often does. But then, she woke me up by clawing at my couch, which she's not allowed to do.
Then she jumped up on my couch, which is her way...

I have had my jade plants for years. I think I harvested the initial "sprout" from a jade plant in Berkeley.
For the first time in memory, they are throwing lovely small flowers.
My "hypothesis" is that it's because of the...

Titia Geertman I have a jade plant too which is at least over 50 years old. I got it last year. It's very rare that they get to blooming, you must've neglected it dearly, because succulents only bloom after a long period of drought. So you must have done something good....

I have talked about these sweet seedless oranges before, called Cara Cara.
Picked up another bag at the store the other day. They are the best. Such a sweet flavor, with not as much acid as regular navel oranges. Perfect with no...
