Here at Mylot we come to discuss things we like to talk about. The topics run everywhere from the weather to war. Some of us like to discuss politics and religion (despite our grandparents warnings), while others prefer less...

Aspen7698 I think (hence my opinion!) is that this is a relatively recent phenomenon. With a government that openly states it is not part of "the reality based community", it is so very easy to interchange fact and opinion. VP Cheney can say that Saddam Hussein was...

That is... if someone is capable to give me a satisfactory and logical answer. The challenge is yours...

Aspen7698 Ah, it really depends on if you are looking for a satisfactory answer, or a logical answer. A satisfactory answer does not have to be logical and vice versa. A satisfactory answer comes with a predetermined set of expectations. Perhaps , that God will make the...

Aspen7698 As with all things, greed is at the heart of it. I live in Arizona where people have very strong opinions on illegal immigration. What never ceases to amaze me, however, is how craftily the federal government has deflected the blame away from themselves and on...

Do you guys really believe that in 2012 the world is coming to an end like the farmers almanac predicts? Or do you think it's just another scare like everyone thought the world was coming to an end at the millenium in 2000.

...or is it just my cable company? The first few times it happened I was in the dining room where my computer is and my mom was in the next room in front of the TV; I knew it WAS tuned in to MSNBC, but then an ad came on for the...

Aspen7698 I don't know about a conspiracy but Fox is advertising on MSNBC. It seems odd to me because as an MSNBC watcher myself, I would never watch the Fox Opinion Channel. They are completely opposite in content and viewers as well. It does surprise me that Fox would...
