Help, my dvd-rom isn't reading anything

My dvd-rom likes to work only when it wants to & at the moment it is choosing not to read any type of disc whether it be dvd's, cd's or data/software discs! I have checked it out & my computer is telling me that it is functioning...

bajikumar yes its true ! i can't even think about it (without having internet ) because without internet , computer is nothing ,there are only limited thing to do it on computer without internet . it will be also boring for anyone who use computer without internet.
