Any GOOD recipes out there for a frugal mom. I'd like to try to stay at or under $5.00. Is it possible?

beernpickles What I like to do because it's cheap because most of the ingredients are already in the fridge is pasta with a homemade white sauce. 2tbls. of flour 2tbls. of butter melt together slowly so it doesn't burn. Heat until it is melted and blended. SLOWLY...

What is the least amount of money you could survive on each month?

What is the minimum amount of money you would need to survive..not necessarily superflously but to have your basic needs met? For me..I could survive with $1000.00 a month but that would leave no room for surprise bills...

beernpickles The song that always makes me tear up is "Proud to be an American" by Lee Greenwood. Everytime it comes on, I pretty much sitting there, usually in the car, bawling my eyes out. Quite embarassing. But what can I say, I'm patriotic.
