How long do you run your laptop at a stretch ?

I generally run for 4 hours or so, i have to shut my laptop and let it cool, running laptops for long durations is not advisable, so how long do you run your laptop at a stretch ?

bibbigaadu i run my lap for 9-10 hrs in a stretch and sometimes 1 or 2 days my highest is didnt turned off my lap for 3 days.yeah it is not advisable thats y now i'm using cooling pads and changed my battery twice.
