ByronEA No, there is no difference in meaning. Amen means "[it is] Truth". I pronounce it with a short a "ah-MEN". Sometimes, I go back to my childhood ways and pronounce it in Hebrew: "ah-MAIN"

ByronEA As an Episcopalian, I believe that both are essential to true religion. Our faith is a three-legged stool: Scriptures, Tradition, and Reason. Our faith is that we can find truth and spirituality by using all three of these.
