Kareng This is on a LOT of labels now! You have to read every single one!! I noticed it on Picante Sauce recently. I will not purchase anything with bio-engineered ingredients. It is lab created and part of the push to have everyone eat vegan. No thanks!

Lena Kovadlo If hubby sees it on the label he immediately puts it back on the store shelf. I think I will make an exception for the mayo and keep using it. I don't really like the other brands.

Kayla Tsukino No. It's perfectly safe. It just means some indgeretents were mass-produced in a lab, and weren't locally sourced. It's a way of taking things we use, and recreating them using technology . It can scare people, but it's not harmful.
