So, our current peso bills will be demonetized by the end of 2013. Does anyone know where we can exchange our current bills to the new ones -- can we do that at any bank or only at BSP? Thanks in advance!

dana820 Well, that's how it is - old money to new money. Been around long enough to see it happen. I once discovered very old one-peso coins saved in a shoe box that I totally forgot about; kind of defeats the purpose too 'cuz now I couldn't use them.

dana820 Yes it is. No worries - you know that there are new peso bills though? There was all that hoopla about the art in them in 2010 till early last year, etc. BSP said that the current peso bills will be demonetized in 2014 - you can google this if you need more...

dana820 I wish the banks will start using the new bills, to get them in circulation and all that. I get a little excited when I use an ATM nowadays... then again I get disappointed when it pushes out the current bills.

dana820 I used to get that "this is my new roaming number" too. I also received the "mom, I got into an accident, nakiki-text lang ako, pa-reload dito," or something to that effect. I ignore and delete them. And yes, they are so annoying. It's just sad, really.

Heard this on the news. Eek! If this fee goes up, we know that a lot will follow -- fees on public transport, "pandesal" (ok, kidding on the bread but well... yeah, it could happen!). We'll see if anything goes on in the news...

dana820 Noticed that "VAT" has been printed on most toll tickets for the past few years but it's always been "0.00". Now, we're going to see that 12% value real soon, sucks! The timing of it all... one after the other. Sigh.

dana820 Haven't tried Dove though. Aveeno for baby smells great too... :) I have stolen a few squeezes of it from my niece's diaper bag and rubbed it on my hands and elbows when they weren't not looking -- but I've only done that a couple of times! HAHA! :D

dana820 I'd stay far away from The Body Shop's mango body butter!!! LOL That was the first body butter that I've tried from that store and I swear, I'm never getting any where near it again because it smells terrible after a while! HAHA! True, body butter's too greasy...
