dana820 Totally! Those ads claim magically "quick results" which rarely make sense. The benefits of walking is long-term and results are obvious if one sticks to it and makes it part of their daily lives. So glad to know all the positive things it has done for you!...

dana820 Yummy! I have not tried cooking kare-kare (too intimidating LOL) but I do enjoy eating it. Using pork leg sounds like a great idea too. Have you tried any of the pre-packed mixes like Mama Sita's? They can cut down on prep time, I assume.

dana820 Haven't seen that but I've seen coconut meat or "copra" laid out to dry on the roadside years ago. They still do it now from what I hear. I liked seeing it then - it was rustic and nice, felt like home.

dana820 You were right to be angry! That driver, with his music volume on high - good thing you didn't get into an accident! The dangers of the driver not being able to hear because of loud music is like when one is texting or talking on the phone behind the wheel....

dana820 I agree with ybong. Muscle weighs more so you have to build more muscle to gain the pounds you want. Do it with supervision (trainer or friend who body-builds) so you don't injure yourself. Good luck!
