Time to dig out a photo of our Sonny James esquire. The silly guy. I never thought I'd share life with another black cat- last one before he arrived- was a cat I had when I was a teen on a farm.

My six years old pug is unwell since last night. He didn't eat his food and is looking quite dull. My father has taken him to the vet. I hope he gets well soon!

Personally, I wouldn't be insulted. I'd just be concerned for my child on how he / she would handle it if the search was or wasn't a success.
But either way, I'm sure a majority of adopted children would be wanting to find them...

Dena I was adopted at birth and the only thing I wanted to know was my heritage. You will always be their parents but it's good for them to learn where they came from. It's like closing a chapter on their life that they needed to get to where they can finally move...
