elemental69 Traditional irish dishes are bacon and cabbage, collcannon made with potatoes cabbage and parsnips, bread and butter pudding, irish soda bread, fruit scones to name just a few :)

How do you keep in touch while your away traveling?

My parents usually buy me a phone card to bring with me. Now I mostly text and use facebook on my mobile while traveling. I've heard that skype has becoming more and more popular.

elemental69 I use skype all the time. Its free and I get to keep in touch with friends and family in the states. I dont use my mobile for long distance cals any more as hey cost a fortune.

elemental69 Good ole fashioned home cooked meals win every time lol. I love to cook at home for my family. We eat out maybe once a month, and it is nice to get to KFC or McDonalds for a treat and a break. Its said whats seldom is wonderful!! :)

elemental69 Yes I am on medication. I am on 5 different ones. 2 for diabetes, 1 for blood pressure, 1 for an ulcer and another for high cholesterol. I take them for obvious reason lol. Because I need to to keep me healthy and to stop me from dying sooner than I should :)
