ride54toi Just treat them equally. Have a personal time for each child. Explain thoroughly to the brother that you have now greater responsibility. Tell him that he too has responsibility for the younger sibling.

jen20619 I think this is a valuable discussion.I think it is the responsibility of both parent and teacher.The teacher to teach reading to the kids in school and the parent to help with reading outside school.
