iiartisanii If the dog moves too much, he's probably going to be nicked. There are no tricks to prevent that other than training your dog to accept being groomed.

iiartisanii Yikes. Buying a pet from either of those places is asking for trouble. The only place you should get a dog is from a rescue (shelter/pound) or from a responsible breeder that health tests all of their stock for genetic disorders like hip dysplasia.

iiartisanii I think you've missed the point of the original post. There is more to pet store puppies than just getting a vet check once they are purchased. Dogs from pet stores come from commercial breeders who are not heath testing the parents for genetic diseases....
