My dad used to make this for me every year when I was very young. It's been 30 years since I last had some but I can still remember how it tastes. There is no snow where I live now and I really miss it.

jessica67 I haven't read that one, but I read her book, Belly Laughs, when I was pregnant and she really is a good writer. She keeps things real and tells it like it is. I like that. Thanks for the recommendation.

Is anyone else allergic to cantelope and honeydew?

As an adult, I have become allergic to cantelope, honeydew, bananas and most recently cats. My doctor says the fruits are all part of the ragweed family. I don't have a strong reaction, just puffy and numb lips after I eat them.

There are currently 5 books in the series and there will be a 6th. This follows the interest of the new vampyre craze brought on by Twilight. I loves the Twilight series and also love this series.
