People think I am 10 years younger than my age - and it is a nice compliment but how do you feel? Do you look younger and feel younger?

jjhon1224 I also look 10 years younger than my age. Most of the time, I don't really mind. I figure that the older I get, the more I will appreciate it. And I actually do feel younger. Sometimes I forget how old I am. Which is not bad, actually. I do believe that how...

I have this heart condition called Atrial Septal Defect (ASD), it's basically a hole in the heart that only open heart surgery can fix the problem. However, open heart surgery will leave me a nasty 6 inches scar on my chest area....

jjhon1224 I understand your point of view on waiting. However, I would advise you to listen to your doctor and have the surgery sooner rather than later. Here is why. You feel like you can still go on for another year or two. Which means that you feel strong now, but...

We often said past is past. But can we go on without looking back in the past? Admit it or not it is easier said than done. Forget the past and move on, that is what most people often say. But my argument is don't forget the...

jjhon1224 I would say that I agree with you completely. I don't think it's ever really possible (except in cases of psychological disorders) to forget the past. I think people can try hard to do it, but the simple fact that they steer their minds away from it proves...

In light of my discussion on my youngest growing up too fast, I want to post something about what he did yesterday.
I was going to sleep around noon, I work midnight shift, so that is when I sleep. My little one who just turned...

jjhon1224 Thanks so much for sharing your story! Stories like these make me want to have kids earlier! I do have a story, but not nearly as sweet as yours. My nephew, who is 20 months, is a little gluton. He loves to eat, and will stuff himself until he gets a tummy...

Well, we got five minutes into Pixar's Cars and she ran out of the room. I guess it was ambitious to expect a three year old to watch an animated flick with no humans in it.
Last night I ended up watching it halfway through,...

I hate to admit it but I was begging for bidders on the ebay blog this morning. I am still begging for bidders. I have not had a sale in over a month. My daughter's 17th birthday is in 9 days and if I can't manage to sell...

When I was deciding to get married, my astrologer died so I had to go to a tarot reader! Yes, I believe in the possibility of psychic phenomena. I believe that there are strange and unexplained things that happen in our universe....

jjhon1224 I also believe there are things going on in this huge universe or ours that we don't understand and have no control over. However, I would not take any psychic or tarot reader's advice. I think what will happen will happen. Self-fulfilling prophecies, fate,...

I just read this story on a website. It is a copy of an Associated Press story and I had to share it with all of you. Here it is:

jjhon1224 I don't think there is anything in the world that I would be in such a hurry for that I would leave a dying woman on the floor without calling 911. I can't tell you how sad I am to read this story. This was someone's daughter, someone's friend. I agree that...

jjhon1224 I remember when I was little (bear with me a little) my family and I were vacationing, and came upon this restaurant that lined their tables with paper. We had a great day, and were in a great mood. The food and service were good, so my sister and I grabbed...
