wax, shave, or veet?

which is the most cost-effective? I usually shave my legs, but I can't stand the cuts and razor bumps I sometimes get. The Veet cream works, but hair comes back after one day and it's pretty expensive since you only use the tube...

Used bookstores vs. retail bookstores

Does anyone else prefer used bookstores over places like Barnes and Noble? I can't stand buying books new. Used bookstores feel so much more personal and fun to me.

Which matters most when you're looking for a mate? Does their financial situation come into play? I've met some people who wouldn't give an otherwise awesome person a chance just because he didn't make enough money as she did.
