All which that I know is that we can create realistic looking 3D images in Maya. I would like to know if we could design our own animated 2D or 3D movies in Maya. I have no experience with this software. So, if anyone could help...

Kathryn Ponniah It is good if you learn maya. Maya has more tools for doing things... But comparatively you will learn 3D max more faster than maya. If you are new to the 3D world i recommend you 3D max... else Maya is best option I am doing a course on Maya...

Kathryn Ponniah well you can do 2D/3D movies...some little dedication is needed... . . For 3D try Maya(best) or 3DsMax For 2D try Flash(best) or swish . i had made 2 movies of each 3-minutes. one in Flash and another in maya
