mlh8087 I believe you are correct. If she had tried all the suggestions everyone has given her and still doesn't have a place to stay, then mostly likely she is not in such dire straits as she claims.

mlh8087 You keep saying "You've done all that." Exactly what have you done? Why didn't you renew your lease? Does your landlord have another available apartment? Is this a ploy to get money out of people or to have them feel sorry for you?

mlh8087 It's not so much as being strong. It's more about love of your daughter and the grandchild to be. Yeah, it's a frustrating situation. But once life is made it can't be unmade and your child is probably already stressed about it anyway.

mlh8087 I sincerely believe that all creatures were put here for a reason. The only creatures that I will kill without a thought are fire ants, roaches, mice, and mosquitoes plus an occassional fly. Oh fleas and ticks. They make my pets miserable.

mlh8087 Thank you for the complement. I think I'm more of an animal lover than being brave. The neighbor lady didn't want the "good" snake killed and I didn't want to kill it. The only alternative was to move it.

mlh8087 Great story. It seems that snakes are everywhere. They get into the building I work in and I have to catch those little buggers too. I'm pretty sure they were never "rubber" snakes as they all were flicking their little tongues at me.
