monljs Always carry a bottle of water, and carrot sticks really helped me. Some people swear by suckers and chewing gum, but I didn't find them very helpful. I've been smoke free for over four years now. The patch gave me nightmares and I heard the gum was awful, so...

monljs Very hard...but if you set your mind to it, you can do it. I quit 4.5 years ago, and there are still times when I want to smoke. I just think about the smell, cost, and watching my father die from cancer, and that cig just doesn't sound so appealing anymore.

monljs I thought it was because of the fiber content of darker grains, but I'm not sure either. I've never really watched my carb intake I guess. :) I did notice that with instant rice, there's not too much difference between brown and white. Taste or nutrition...

monljs Mmmmm...I love hot cocoa, too. My favorite breakfast food is omelettes, (esp. broccoli and cheese.) I love sitting down for a big breakfast. It's such a great way to start a day. :)

monljs I also love the Spark! It is an awesome site, not a diet as much as a lifestyle. It makes sense, is easy to use, and has tons of resources.
