Why cats like to sit on the laptop?

I just kind of wonder if cat owners have this in common. Your pet is racing with you when you try to sit on your computer table or you find out there he is on the keyboard? Why would cats wants to be there? Share your thoughts:

mspitot Cats love sitting on laptops specially on the keyboard because of two things: first, they like the warm temperature of the computer and second, they are looking for your attention so they can cuddle with their human.

Cat's Throne is our electric fan

My cat likes to sit down under our electric fan. I am not sure why? But sometimes whenever i hug him, i can feel his stomach like an electric fan. That's very odd. Is there a scientific explanation on this?
