What can you eat while breastfeeding?

There are so many things that people say you can't eat while breastfeeding. Beans, onions, garlic, spaghetti, lemons, spicy food. I tried to get a list of things you should eat off of the internet but I can't seem to find a list....

mflower2053 Thanks I know I can't eat broccoli I did that and she was having bad gas after. I didn't mean to eat it I kind of forgot it gave you gas. I'll start trying other food. I really want some hot wings and spaghetti

nancygibson Mostly I use wooden needles, and a lot of those I make myself, buying birch or walnut dowel and finishing the points just he way I like them. I also have a large collection of Victorian bone and ivory needles, which I do use and which are lovely to work with....
