nathanq I want to ask this question too. I used to think if I care someone, he/she'll be happy with me, but it turns out that it's not really true. People feel happy if I have something they want or I'm worse than them. I found it's realy hard to understand people.

nathanq In China, people also text a lot. When I was still an undergrad in china, I usually have a sms service package, which is kinda cheap, so I sent text to my friends instead of calling them. But in US, i don't buy the sms plan, so I stop using text now.
