Our dogs name is "Ike"...which is also a real person name. What about your pets, what are their names? Is it silly to name them after a real person? I think it's cute..

pcballer63 No its not silly. I think it is actually a good way to name a pet. I got my dog from the animal shelter. His name is titan and he is a four year old black lab.
