I really don’t think any of our friends or family imagined in their wildest dreams that our marriage would last even 40 days, but today we celebrate 40 years together. To celebrate we’ll take the train to the Jardin des Plantes for a wander around then have lunch at a restaurant in Place de La Contrescarpe. We’ll sit a while on green chairs in the Jardin du Luxembourg and finish with dinner in Rue Daguerre. I’m looking forward to the next 40 years together.

@ladyduck Thanks Anna. When you sent your comment we were sitting outside a cafe near the Jardin du Luxembourg drinking Kir Royals - the Ruby colour of the drink was so appropriate for celebrating our Ruby anniversary.
