allen0187 @roomfortwo I'm familiar with Salvation Army. They have volunteers here in Manila. Sadly, they do not have Salvation Army shops. For cheap books, there is a book store aptly named 'Book Sale' that offers a good range of books for discounted prices.

Sandy KS @roomfortwo Oh yes garage sales are much cheaper. Some run high, but they don't sell much. On the low end prices can be : shirts from 25 cents to $3.00. shorts from 50 cents to $5.00. Jeans are $1.00 to $5.00
