sallyj Oh I agree. I remember learning. My grandmother had a nursing home, that I enjoyed the older women so much. My own grandmother refused to teach me how to crotchet, but these women were so glad to teach and enjoy a young person. You sure bring back memories...

sallyj As my age goes up so do the problems. RA, high bood pressure, high cholesteral, high blood sugar and osteoarthritis. Most are moderate and uses mild drugs, but when they all flair I can be miserable.

sallyj It has been a bad year. Everyone in my area has had a hard time getting their crops out. It has rained so much and the ruts left by the machinery is deep. At least it has not been snow. I can not imagine shoveling all that white stuff.

sallyj I like perennial if possible. I like flowers I do not have to replant every year. Even some of my fruits and vegetables are perennial. Strawberries, blueberries, asparagus, onions,rhubarb, horseradish.
