sankaramb Digest.dll is the internet explorer programming related error.use load servicepack2 of widows xp and upgrade ie.If you are using windows98/me generally this error comes with ie5.5 version. Try to load windows xp with sp2 and check it again.

sankaramb There are also softwares for removing bad sectors you can download them.but all the data will be earsed if want to do it.you have to make a bootable cd and have to do the procedure.

sankaramb The general procedure for fixing bad blocks is right on c drive and select properities and click on tools click on check now and select both options.when ever your pc restarts it checks and fixes bad blocks usually dont skip this step.

sankaramb Lap top consumes very less power compared to destop.Onece its batteries are fully charged it takes very less power for supplying power to the lcd screen.
