sharlahodges You can live without a spleen but a spleen is what helps you fight infection. The doctor had told him if he gets a cold without a spleen he probably would be in the hospital.

sharlahodges Yes it does. That is what we say has happened this weekend. His spleen was at 27 cm and today it is down to 17 cm. So, he goes to dr. tomorrow so we are just wondering if dr. will postpone the surgery. Which is what my sil would love since he does not want it...
