sorchajack The only time I have felt truly lonely, was when my little dog died last year. Previously, I had always had a dog or a cat. Might sound strange, but I think it is just the knowlege that there is another living thing around you.

sorchajack You dont say how old you are, although strokes can happen at any age. Most people tend to think that they are an aging thing, but I have known a 17 year old that it happened to. I am so glad that you are seeing your doctor, and I hope that all will be well....
