What can a person do to lose weight when they can't do sit ups? I have tried doing them, but I fail every time. I get out with the dogs during the day so I am not a couch potato. I can't afford to go to a gym and we don't have...

Honestly, sit ups aren't going to do much to help you lose weight anyway. They are great to tighten your ab muscles, and by working out your muscle you can burn extra calories, but sit ups alone will not do it. When you say you get out with the dogs during...

No worries really because doing situps is not going to help you lose weight. Situps might at most help you to firm your abdominal muscles. To lose weight, the best trick is to run. Just run around your neighborhood. It's free and you don't need to gym. :)

Walking is a good exercise and all you need is good shoes to do it. Well, ok, you need clothes and a place to walk. But, you would have clothes anyway, and it's easy to find places to walk if you want to. 30 minutes a day is ample for good health. Remember to...

It took all summer, but I lost 16 lbs. last summer, just randomly walking my sister's dogs. I did not go fast because if we did, they pulled me off my feet. I fell like six times while I was helping to care for them, and always hurt my bad knee. Spiritwolf,...
